Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is known as the actress who played Violet Plunkett, in CBS"sitting show Mom. Calvano, a Californian native had a first interest in gymnastics competitions. She decided, later on to pursue a career path in acting. She debuted on the screen in 2010 in the episode of CBS's NCIS. The big screen debut came a year later with the biographical crime-drama film "J Edgar'. She became one of the most talented young actors on the scene throughout the years. In 2011 she won the Young Artist Award nomination for Best Actress in TV Series and in the role of Guest Actress 11-15. The actress was also nominated 2013 for an additional Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest on the comedic show of Disney XD 'Kickin' It'. Calvano played a role in a handful series of the show "Mom" in its 4th season. She was a main actor in the early three seasons of the series. She won the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for Best Female Actor - Rising Star, thanks to her role in 'Mom'.
